What kind of benefits you can expect in Poland

Hey, 

I relocated to Poland(Krakow) in 2017 and I'm very happy to be here. I just regret that why I didn't do it 5-10 years ago :) 

Except nice and kind people, beautiful, old and safe city you can even expect a lot of benefits from the government and companies. Today I want to share all kind of benefits which I know and use here. If you know additional ones please feel free to leave them in the comment, I'll be happy to check it and add to the list :)

• You can apply for "Family 500+"(Rodzina 500+) which is for whom has 2 or more children. Every month you will get 500 PLN(tax-free) for per 2nd and more children to your account. For this, you can easily apply from any bank's (for instance ING, Millennium and etc.) mobile application. After it, you will get instruction and list of documents which you need to provide to a government organization.
  PS: starting from July 2019 you can even apply 500+ for your first child as well :) Thanks Polish government!

• Another benefit which I want to share is named "Good Start". This benefit is equal to 300 PLN and it is for children who start the new school year. It is also can be applied through mobile bank applications.
• Also, you can get 500 PLN per kid for a vacation. It is a kind of voucher which you can use only inside Poland for your children. In order to check/get it, you have to log in to www.zus.pl
• The next one is Goodie (www.goodie.pl) which is as I know belongs to Millennium bank. If you like online shopping this app is perfect. I'm using it from the beginning and it covers almost all online markets including Polish and foreign as Aliexpress and etc. When you buy something you should open that site from this app and do your payment. Then you will get a small percentage of that amount back which will be shown in your account. When you will have at least 20 PLN you can transfer it to any Polish bank account and enjoy :)
• If you are working and paying taxes here you can also get a discount for public transport. For this purpose, you should first register at site www.kk.krakow.pl (Karta Krakowska) and then you will get an email with instructions. (You need to get the first page of your PIT-37 and UPO and show it on one of the mentioned addresses from email. Both documents can be downloaded from e-PIT)
• Another one is Revolut which allows you to get virtual and physical cards. And this bank/company allows you to exchange your amount from one currency to another at a very good rate. Even it will do it on-the-fly(automatically) while you are paying online in a different currency. Also when you are abroad you can exchange and spend your money with a very good exchange rate. The app also has very useful analytics which shows your spending in a nice diagram, by different categories and etc.
• If you are doing shopping from Rossmann and buying something for family/children you can download their application and register your children in the app. Then you will get discounts when you'll buy and show your application (bar code)
• Who likes ride electric scooters and living in the Krakow can join to HULAJ community.  Use "7u97Q9" as promo code (invitation code) to enjoy with 3 free rides :)

• Do you want cycling in Krakow? Then Wavelo is for you
• Do you prefer to make a reservation for barber and etc online instead of a phone call? Feel free and join Booksy community?
• If you are looking for a car to scan and drive then try Traficar is for you. You can register in app and then you will receive email instructions. You will be required to go to the mentoined address to show your driving license and residence card (for instance Blue Card). After it, your account will be approved and you can drive(pay per minute and km)
• In some of EU countries as Germany, The Niderlands and etc you can use google maps for public transport times and route. But in Poland, it is better to use Jakdojade application. (Btw, now google maps also show this info probably in near future we will not need Jakdojade app, but it is better to have it here)
• For whom need live tracking of public transport can use mpk.jacekk.net and see any transport on a map in Krakow.
• Next app/site which I'd like to share is Envelo Using this service you can send a letter/envelop online without going to the post office. Your letter can be written on site or can be uploaded as PDF (you can write it by hand and then scan for example). After this your letter will be encrypted and send to the print house where it will be automatically decrypted, printed, enveloped and send to destination :) Btw, you can create your own stamp even online and send your logo on your envelope
